I have spent years breaking down the mechanics of storytelling, dissecting exactly what makes gripping narratives work, and studying the formulas of bestselling authors to understand how a book hooks a reader from page one. I know the structure, the pacing, and the rules inside and out. But a successful book is more than just a formula, and deep down, that technical study is not who I am. Who I am is the editor who will not give up on your manuscript until it is the best it can possibly be. I do not care about being cute and polished, and I don’t care about giving off a curated “editor aesthetic” or vibe. I care about actually getting down into the dirt, doing the hard work, and helping you solve the deep problems holding your story back.
